Meet the Family

My husband Jason and I have been married for 18 years this August.  He served in the United States Navy which sent us traveling to South Carolina, California, and Washington.

We have two cool kids!  Abigail is a 9th grader at Edwardsville High School and Drew is an 10th grader at EHS.  You will hear many stories about them and Mr. Law!

We enjoy our family time and know it is essential to honor family time each day.  We spent this summer watching Drew play baseball, Abby practice violin, and traveled to Washington, D.C., Chicago, and went on our annual kayak trip in Missouri!

Classroom Expectations

Respect others: Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself. Raise your hand to speak.

Respect yourself: Follow directions quickly and always do your best work!

Respect your school: Be safe, be kind, be honest!

We have individual positive rewards and classroom rewards.  The students will be able to move their magnet up on the behavior chart with making good choices and may move down by making bad choices.  Please see classroom procedures forms sent home during the first week of school.

Our Classroom

Over 20 Years in Education!

Yes, it is true, I have been in the field of education since 1997.  There were a few breaks which included living in 3 different states.  I taught 2nd grade in the Edwardsville School District from 1997-2000.  I came back to District 7 in 2008 and I have been here at Albert Cassens teaching 4th grade. full time,  since 2010!

My passions!

I love teaching! I love that every day is unique and different and each student is uniquely wonderful!  I really enjoy being outside with my family and traveling.
